Founding Trustee - Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe Vimbiso Scholarship Trust

The Vimbiso Scholarship Trust was founded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and the Chartered Accountants Students Society (CASS). The Vimbiso Trust's key objectives are:

• To offer educational assistance to academically gifted persons from disadvantaged backgrounds wishing to pursue careers as Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe.

• To groom, mentor and provide life skills to beneficiaries;

Key Achievements

• Recruited 32 students who are currently in University and training to be Chartered Accountants.

• Designed a robust mentorship and leadership development program for the students.

• Solicited funds from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe members from part subscriptions.

• Partnered with audit firms and Chartered Accounting training institutions for partial bursaries for students.
